after reading lots of reviews on different tv stands I realized that there was always a negative on each of them. There was no reviews on this one so I thought Id give it a go. It arrived on time the box was very battered so I was fearing the worst. How wrong I was, the stand was in perfect condition, it was easy to put up in about 5 mins and is a very solid stand. It has no sharp edges so great if like me you have kids running about and supports my 42 inch tv with no over hang, it also has loads of room on the shelves to store all your other gadgets and a good cable tidy. It also looks great. In fact I cant say one bad thing about it. A great buy at a cheap price. PERFECT.

|Would be a good buy if it had gone together,
I bought this to support a 50ins Panasonic. It arrived on time with the packaging in good order. I opened the box and took all the components out and checked that they were all there before starting to build it. So far so good. It is not a complicated item and the assembly progressed swiftly until I got as far as the bottom shelf (i.e. about 80% of the way through the build)and couldn’t line up the back holes on the bottom shelf with the ends of the tension rods. At first I thought I had done something stupid as the build is so simple I thought I may have overlooked something straightforward. Unfortunately not. The holes in the bottom shelf were at 640mm whereas the locators on the top shelf and the holes in the midshelf were at 690mm. I don’t know if it was a rogue part that actually belonged to another design of table altogether or whether the holes had been drilled in the wrong before the glass was tempered but either way the table wasn’t ever going to go together. I was then faced with the irksome task of repacking the parts along with the vast amount of polystyrene and cardboard protection.
So why the three stars? Well the product itself looked well designed compared to others I had seen. The rods had a good length of thread, the legs were a good quality finish and the glass was the same thickness in each shelf. Others I have seen have had 8mm in the top shelf and 5mm in the other two. It also has an element of cable management which the comparable model that I had looked at in Comet didn’t. All in all it seemed pretty good value for money and if mine had gone together correctly I would have been entirely happy with it and they can’t all have the same problem can they….can they?
